Vending Technologies in trading halt

A halt in trading of Vending Technologies shares was called pending an announcement expected later today.

VTL shares closed yesterday at 75c. They have traded between 45c and $1.20 during the past few years.

In December, VTL said it had conditionally bought an interest in a Boston vending company in return for licensing its franchise system and proprietary vending technology.
