KPMG has brought the Tauranga and Bay of Plenty-based accounting firm Frasers for an undisclosed sum.
Frasers will join KPMG in their new Tauranga offices from Jan 1.
"Our clients will benefit from the increased resources available through the KPMG network while preserving the special relationship with the Frasers team," Frasers, Graeme Fraser said in a statement.
KPMG said the merger part of their growth strategy and shows their "willingness to expand" in the region, while giving Frasers "access to specialist tax and audit services."
