IT Capital is one of the country's leading IT venture capital companies.
Sharechat managing director, Ben Dutton, said it was the first time the head of a publicly listed company had held a live conference with local investors on the internet.
"We believe this heralds a new era of investor information.
"The internet is the perfect vehicle for this conference as current and potential investors in IT Capital, wherever in the world they may be located, will be able to find out more information, direct from the chief executive," Mr Dutton said.
The conference will take place in a live internet relay chat room, which is one part of the Sharechat website, on Wednesday, May 31, at 11am.
"With the current global turmoil surrounding technology stocks, Mr Dittus will be able to shed some light on IT Capital and it performance," Mr Dutton said.
He added that Mr Dittus' session was intended to be the first of regular online discussions with company bosses in an attempt to keep the investing public well informed and interested in the local markets.
