Allan,
       Make sure that you do not confuse MetaStock with MetaShare. 
 MetaStock is the most widely used stock charting program in the world. It 
costs around $1500.
 MetaShare is a company that sells systems and provides training for would-be 
traders. They bundle MetaStock software with their package. The last I heard of 
them was when they were ordered by the Disputes Tribunal to reimburse a 
displeased customer to the tune of $12,000.
