Actually, it transpired recently as a virus ran rampant around the world, after Microsoft had criticised companies and organisations for not applying security patches to their Microsoft software in a timely fashion (the implication being that if they did, they wouldn't be exposed to the virus), that the virus of the moment had infected swathes of Microsoft's own internal network.

You can guess why ...

Perhaps it was Microsoft programmes that made the holes in World.com and Enron etc??
 
Question:
Should investors in equities have information on the computer operating systems used by companies as part of the investors risk analysis for investment decisions?  Could be a bit like the question, "who is on the Board"?
