On Monday Macdunk posted speculating that Transrail would be a good buy.

Then today;

Tranz Rail Holdings has provided a copy of a Takeover Notice in relation to
a Full Offers by Rail New Zealand, A wholly owned subsidiary of
RailAmerica, Inc. to acquire all of the ordinary shares and all other
equity securities in Tranz Rail Holdings Limited made pursuant to the
Takeovers Code.
Consideration:
$0.75 per TranzRail ordinary share;
$2.25 per American Depositary Receipt in relation to Tranz Rail (each
American Depositary Receipt representing three ordinary shares in Tranz
Rail);
