An evil plot by nasty foriegners to gain control  of cnif  which resides on crown land?What would overseas investment commission say about that?More likely to be some home grown twisted evil plot probably involving some kind of securitisation of cnif with perhaps some other companies forests thrown in for good measure.Perhaps rubicon to buy ffs processing plants and leave ffs as a giant nursary?Just how much timber does ffs require for there to be an assured supply and do they indeed need to OWN any at all?You would think that there would be any number of forestry companies in nz who would bend  over backwards to accommodate a long term log  supply agreement with this so called wall of wood approaching.
