There was a fascinating article about the whole Macquarie operation in last week's BRW in Australia.  Unfortunately the article is for subscribers only on their website http://www.brw.com.au/ but you can join up for a free trial to give it a read.  Most worthwhile, and it talks about the whole Mac Sydney airport fiasco.

any thoughts on macquarie airports fund, this fund entered on $1.00 on 02/04/02 amongst a lot of controvosy about paying to much for sydney airport, not enough history for the technicals but now mapca is trading in the low 30cents, some fundementals on this stock would be appreciated
