Hi Phaedrus

hate to be too cynical, most shares would be showing short-term sells signals at the moment wouldn't they!!

A few reasons why I like WAM, being more a FA investor than TA;

  • They have a big foothold in Auckland via Redvale tip.  Big population growth, growing construction and infrastructure projects = more rubbish.
  • Councils around the country are looking at ways to save money, employing WAM achieves that aim.  WAM must be achieving good economies of scale (eg Waikato).
  • A more diversified company now than several years ago, especially with recent Ozzy purchases.
  • Green waste, gas reticulation, carbon tax sale bode well for the future.
  • I like them!
Add FA & TA together = happiness and profits!?

Regards

disclaimer:    purchased WAM at $2.75 several months ago.  If I recall rightly, it may have been one of your charts that prompted me!
