Following from my last post http://www.flutter.com even has financial
bets,you can bet against other people on the price of the DOW or FTSE and
over the entire site 15million pounds has been wagered in the past 7 days.
Problem that feverpitch will have is that there will be no reason for
people to switch from these well established sites. The only thing going for
them is the local angle, ie they will offer bets on NZ events. However given
our tiny population and take out all those who dont bet and are underage
etc, whats left is a very small betting public, especially when you takeout
those with no internet access. Even then they are having to compete with the
TAB and numerous aussie online betting firms
