I think that the Briscoes IPO shows all that is wrong in this market. The $1 issue price was a joke and I believe that the 40% premium reflects this. Of course on a few select people got to participate in the issue and I believe that once again Joe Public buys at a premium while the big financial institutions flick it off quickly and make I tidy profit. I am interested in what other people think on the fiasco and the great example of the market not working correctly.
