   I have been using Datek as my USA broker for quite some time. They have an 
excellent site (the best I have seen), execute orders quickly, and charge only 
$9.99. I have recommended them to many people. 
   This morning I was unable to log-on to their site at 7am. ("No response - 
Server down or not responding") This is the third time this week that this has 
happened. It is not a transient problem - I kept trying for an hour, until the 
market closed.
   Has anyone else experienced this? I have a theory. Datek guarantee that any 
order will be executed within 60 seconds, or it is free. I have had many free 
trades. Perhaps when things are getting busy, and too many free trades are 
going through, they disable new log-ons until they catch up.
   Whatever the reason, this is no good to me. Does anyone have a USA internet 
broker they can recommend?
