thanks for that :), it made things alot clearer.  

just thinking, even though with the weak financials, it still has a
monopolictic hold in new zealand (well i reckon anyway :) ), and i guess that's
a good thing going for it.  even with all that trouble on the fundamental side
of telecom .. is it still a good buy at these "discount" prices?  should we
even be considering it for a long term buy even?
