her content, I wouldn't consider her advice on e-mail layout is that
useful.
The cleanest solution to the 'write your own table' problem is to
create it in a non-proportional font. Much the same rules apply to
ASCII art, as per the example below. If the picure you see below is
distorted this means that you are not using a non-proportional font.

Courier is one font that you could construct a table with.
If you really *must* have something more fancy, don't start sending
Microsoft Excel files about, with the associated risk of unwittingly
transmitting viruses. Instead, learn how to create a web page using
HTML, with whatever tables you deem desirable, then upload it to a
free web provider. Then simply post the *link only* here.
That way the subscriber is given the choice if they wish to view
the fancy graphics, rather than being forced to download grossly
bloated information.
