I agree with Peter's comments particularly the ones
re sustainable profits.
If Iguana were to insert profits leaving out abnormals 
and extraordinaries, a comparison of the most recent
year with the previous year, that would be a very good
start.
In the Independent, I think it was, there used to be a table
of 'an average of brokers estimates of future profits' but 
it used to be horribly over optimistic and never got adjusted
for 'events'; if there was something realistic that would be
a useful addition too.
With that extra info one could judge the real winners and
losers as distinct from the prima donnas who get a 
temporary bottle of champagne.
