I assume when Ian Andrews posted his harumph! about the standards of corporate governance in Dunedin he was referring to the treatment of Macreas Mining minority shareholders in the Gold Resources take over.

If you were Ian, I quite agree with you. That take over plumbed the depths of already piss poor protection of minority shareholders in the N Z market. As usual during the take over, the Share Market authorities did little more than wring their hands.
