I don't think it is a good time to quit N.Z. sharemarket now, conversely, I think it is a good time to buy more, unless you are a day trader.

I would expect to see good profit announcement(compared to 1998) from listed companies in next two months. And I would expect following sectors had good profit results:

-ports - both import and export ports

-agriculture and commodities stocks

-some tourist operators

"buy in gloom, and sell in boom", we should always keep this in mind.
