As you say, AQL may well become e-commerce - as
part of their merger with Oceanis, they have bought 19.9% of an ASX shell and
hope to transfer their aquarium assets to that, in which case the nz listing
would become a cashed up shell and would probably go the same road as spectrum,
paynter, etc etc etc.
Not too sure how excited I would be by such a
prospect if this happened - I would rather own shares in a proven e-commerce
provider like ADV, not a little one that will probably get squashed if the
e-commerce market begins to consolidate in the next few years (?).
Of course the inevitable price hike would be
nice short term, so I am holding my stake in AQL to see what happens in the
meanitme :)
