Hi Everyone,

Here's the list of the top ten performing shares of 1999 (as at 17th
December):

1) Strathmore Group Ordinary Shares
2) E-Phone Ordinary Shares
3) Spectrum Resources Ordinary Shares
4) Advantage Group Ordinary Shares
5) IT Capital Ordinary Shares
6) Greenchip Investments Ordinary Shares
7) Revesco Ordinary Shares
8) Capital Energy Ordinary Shares
9) Computershare Ordinary Shares
10) Newcall Group Ltd Ordinary Shares

I've gone through all the lists submitted and both Sarah Corkill and Steve
Moxham have come very close with their lists each having chosen eight
companies out of the top ten.

So I've decided to send them both a box of chocolates: congratulations!

Thanks to Andrew, Greg, Athol and Mr Patient for submitting.  All of you
were pretty much on the mark (with everyone choosing SMR as the number one
share).

Thanks to Adam for supplying the list (and initiating the competition : ).

Now for 2000: keep on posting what you think the top performers of next year
will be and why!
