Auckland-based Cadmus Technology has received an order for a further $1.5 million of eftpos terminals, some of them mobile, from Australia's Bendigo Bank.

The companies have been working together since early 2005.

Patrick O'Brien, managing director of Cadmus Payment Solutions in Australia , said the extended roll-out of Cadmus products to Bendigo merchants would start soon and take a few months to complete.

The Cadmus announcement came around the same time it was revealed that Bank of Queensland was proposing a merger with Bendigo.

Cadmus shares were unchanged on the New Zealand sharemarket shortly before lunchtime today at 19.8c.
