Software of Excellence (NZSE: SOE) has announced three new contracts with two in Australia and one in Singapore.

The biggest contract is with Australian Health Management Group in New South Wales which involves around 100 workstations networked with electronic patient records.

SOE develops dental software and has 45 Auckland staff with another 65 people stationed across the United Kingdom, Australia and the United States.

Australian Health Management chose SOE over a leading United States based software product based on SOE's performance working on a large site and its integration of insurance eligibility systems.

SOE chief executive Paul Weatherly says: "Our software is operating successfully within a number of large organizations who are operating across a significant number of locations, and with some sites having large numbers of workstations.

"Our understanding is that the Australian Health Management Group was the largest site internationally in terms of numbers of users using the United States based Dentrix product."

The company's second contract in Australia is with the Teachers Union Health in Brisbane. They are a health service provider to over 40,000 people with the contract covering about 40 workstations.

A third contract is with Singapore Dental Association and the Health Promotion Board to establish a new Secondary School Dental Service in Singapore.

Last month Software of Excellence announced that it has secured a number of contracts in the Middle East, including a pilot programme for the Ministry of Health in Kuwait for its School Dental Service.
