The 48.6 million shares in listed agribusiness PGG Wrightson Limited owned by Rural Portfolio Investments Limited, in receivership, have been sold for 52 cents each.
The sale is part of receivers McGrathNicol’s actions following last week’s receivership, as RPI investors look to have some or all of their monies recovered.
The receivers are also evaluating sale options for 10 million RPI shares held in New Zealand Farming Systems Uruguay Limited.
PGG Wrightson shares today were trading at 55 cents each, while NZ Farming Systems Uruguay were at 40 cents.
