Fisher Funds to accept increased offer for Wrightson

Tuesday 1st June 2004

Text too small?
Fisher Funds says it intends to accept Rural Portfolio Investments (RPI) partial takeover offer for shares in Wrightson Ltd.

"We think RPI's offer of $1.65 per share is fair and represents an acceptable premium to recent share price levels," Fisher Funds managing director Carmel Fisher says.

"We have enjoyed being a Wrightson shareholder for more than two years, but have decided to accept the offer now that the offer price is close to our valuation target for Wrightson shares."

Fisher Funds owns less than 5% of the company.
