OceanaGold's new CFO

OceanaGold Corporation has appointed Bruce Arnold to the position of chief financial officer (CFO), effective 20 June 2008.

Arnold is a chartered accountant with over 15 years experience in the mining industry. Most recently, Arnold was CFO at Agri Energy Limited, a biofuels company and prior to that, was CFO with Ticor Limited, a global mining company focused on TiO2 minerals and pigment production.

Arnold replaces Ross Glossop who was appointed to CFO in January 2007. Glossop is returning to Perth to take up a new appointment in the mining industry.

A recruitment process is underway to confirm a permanent candidate for the chief financial officer position. Arnold is filling an interim role and will be amongst candidates that will be considered.
