Automation systems maker Scott Technology (NZSE: SCT) says it will be busy for at least the next year after receiving yet another significant order from a North American appliance manufacturer.

The latest order continues the company's run of positive news which began with a $5 million Australian order for a robotic production system announced last October.

That was followed up with in November with orders for a further $5 million worth of equipment and in January it won two more significant contracts.

Scott now says it has received yet another order from North America for an automated production line, to be installed in the second half of 2003.

"This means that the company's capacity will now be fully utilized over the next 12 - 15 months," Scott says.

SCT has production facilities in Dunedin and Christchurch and is also represented in the Auckland market after its February purchase of CBS Engineering.

CBS Engineering designs and produces production lines for the beverage, wine and food industries and has two subsidiaries operating in the robotics sector.
