WITAN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC Voting Rights and Capital In conformity with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company notifies the market of the following: As at 31 August 2010, the capital with voting rights of Witan Investment Trust plc consisted of 196,939,220 ordinary shares of 25p each. On a poll members have one vote for every 1 in nominal value (ie four shares are required per vote). The Company has no shares in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Witan Investment Trust plc is 49,234,805. The above figure (49,234,805) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the voting rights of Witan Investment Trust plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
