GENERAL: WFD: Norfolk Update

Wakefield Health Limited (NZSX: WFD) advises that the meeting of shareholders of Norfolk Investments Limited held on the evening of the 25th of May did not provide the required approval for Wakefield's formal offer for that company to proceed.

Wakefield's involvement and its proposed offer price had earlier attracted support from a majority of Norfolk's shareholders. Wakefield will now evaluate its available options.
