Settlement System Go-Live Date - 6 September 2010

NZX Limited ("NZX") advises that it has now obtained all regulatory approvals necessary for the operation of its new clearing and settlement system ("Settlement System").

As such, and further to the notices of amendment provided to NZX Listed Issuers and NZX Market Participants on 6 August 2010, we hereby advise that, following the successful completion of system migration steps, the first date of operation for the Settlement System will be 6 September 2010 ("Go-Live Date").

Accordingly, subject to the successful completion of the system migration steps, the proposed amendments to the NZSX/ NZDX Listing Rules, NZAX Listing Rules, NZX Participant Rules and the NZ Markets Disciplinary Tribunal Rules and Procedures, as varied by those amendments notified to the market on 6 August 2010, will come into force, and will become binding, as from 12.01am on 6 September 2010.
