GENERAL: NWF: TE RERE HAU NOISE MONITORING UPDATE

NZ Windfarms' noise consultant has completed reanalysis of the monitoring data gathered during May and August 2009 and incorporated in the compliance report that was provided to Palmerston North City Council ("PNCC") on 21 September 2009. The reanalysis has been undertaken to address concerns raised from PNCC's peer review of the report. The reanalysis by NWF's noise consultant concludes full compliance during the period of the 2009 monitoring with the resource consent conditions relating to noise. NZ Windfarms will be undertaking further noise monitoring at Te Rere Hau soon to meet the requirements of its resource consent conditions and ensure ongoing compliance.
