Dividend Reinvestment Plan (the Plan) and 2009/10 interim dividend payable on 1 April 2010

Nuplex Industries Limited advises that the price for determining the number of shares to be issued in lieu of cash dividends to those shareholders who have elected to participate in the Plan has been set at NZ$3.17.

This price has been determined in accordance with the terms of the Plan and is the volume weighted average sale price of all price-setting trades on the NZX over the five trading days from Monday, 8 March to Friday, 12 March, 2010, less a discount of 15 cents.

Shareholders participating in the Plan will be allotted their shares on Thursday 1 April 2010, the date set down for the payment of cash dividends to shareholders who have not elected to participate in the Plan.
