Dear Garth,

This letter is to advise NZX that First NZ Capital Securities Limited requests, at the close of trading today, the closure of the Special Order Facility (HEDY.NZ) that was established on 30 June 2010 pursuant to NZX Participant Rule 10.7 for the purposes of Marlborough Lines Limited's offer for Horizon Energy shares.

Marlborough Lines has written directly to Horizon Energy shareholders advising them that the offer would not be extended beyond 5pm on 6 August 2010.
