Horizon Energy notes with some surprise the comments attributed to Marlborough Lines' Chairman, Mr David Dew, in the NBR article dated 29 June.

Horizon Energy Chief Executive, Mr Ajay Anand said "Horizon Energy had moved on from the Takeovers Panel rulings and the Horizon Energy Board had hoped it could now focus its attention on the business of running the Company and creating value for Horizon Energy shareholders, who now included Marlborough Lines". He also said that "while we take issue with Mr Dew's comments we do not consider it appropriate to comment further at this time on the matters referred to by Mr Dew as those matters are the subject of High Court proceedings".
