PANEL MEETING ON HORIZON ENERGY RE-SCHEDULED

On 9 March 2010 the Takeovers Panel announced that it would hold a meeting to consider various compliance issues relating to the unsuccessful partial takeover offer by Marlborough Lines Limited for Horizon Energy Distribution Limited in September 2009.

The Panel met on Friday 12 March 2010 and considered a number of procedural issues. As a result the second part of the meeting, which was to be held on Tuesday 16 March 2010, has been re-scheduled for Monday 22 March 2010.
