NOTIFICATION OF ISSUE OF SECURITIES

Auckland, New Zealand, 1 July 2010 - Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation Limited (NZSX:FPH, ASX:FPH) advises that 23,219 ordinary shares in the company were issued on 1 July 2010 to US employees accepting an offer to participate in the Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation Limited Employee Stock Purchase Plan (the plan), following approval by the Board on 18 November 2009. The issue price of the shares is NZ$2.652 per share and will be paid in cash.

The Company has a total of 512,327,327 ordinary shares on issue. This issue of shares takes that total to 512,350,546. 23,219 ordinary shares represent approximately 0.00453% of the shares presently on issue.

The shares were issued on the terms of the plan as set out in the Plan rules dated 13 February 2003.
