ALLOT: FPH: NOTIFICATION OF ISSUE OF SECURITIES

NOTIFICATION OF ISSUE OF SECURITIES

Auckland, New Zealand, 7 January 2010 - Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation Limited (NZSX:FPH, ASX:FPH) advises that 20,656 ordinary shares in the company were issued on 7 January 2010 to US employees accepting an offer to participate in the Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation Limited Employee Stock Purchase Plan (the plan), following approval by the Board on 19 December 2008. The issue price of the shares is NZ$2.68 per share and will be paid in cash.

The Company has a total of 512,284,195 ordinary shares on issue. This issue of shares takes that total to 512,304,851. 20,656 ordinary shares represent approximately 0.00403% of the shares presently on issue.

The shares were issued on the terms of the plan as set out in the Plan rules dated 13 February 2003.
