On behalf of the Board of Auckland International Airport Limited (Auckland Airport), I am pleased to introduce you to the new Auckland Airport Dividend Reinvestment Plan.

It is the current policy of the Board to distribute a significant proportion of profits to shareholders by way of dividends paid twice a year.

Auckland Airport now offers shareholders resident in New Zealand or Australia a Dividend Reinvestment Plan, details of which are enclosed. Under this Plan you may invest all or part of your dividends by taking up additional Auckland Airport shares instead of receiving cash.

The Plan provides a convenient way for you to invest your dividends in additional Auckland Airport shares, without incurring brokerage charges or commission. Normally, shares issued under the Plan will be issued at a discount to the trading price of the shares on the NZSX. For the first half-year 2010 dividend, a discount of 2.5% from market price will apply. Participation in the Plan is entirely optional. If you do wish to participate and receive some, or all, of your dividend in the form of additional shares, please complete and return the enclosed Participation Form. You may change your instruction on the method you receive dividends by completing a Participation Form or a Variation Form. If you do not wish to participate in the Plan in respect of all your shares and to receive some, or all, of your dividends as cash, and, if you have not already done so, we encourage you to provide your bank details to Computershare so direct credit can be arranged.

Auckland International Airport is now regarded as one of the best airports in the world, and is committed to providing travellers with a great airport experience and growing passenger volumes. In doing so, we benefit shareholders and contribute further to New Zealand tourism and trade. We believe this new Dividend Reinvestment Plan will provide our valued shareholders with increased options for managing their investment.

As an Auckland Airport shareholder you also receive regular communications from us from time to time keeping you informed of the company's activities and plans. We have a very informative website including an investor section at www.aucklandairport.co.nz. You can also subscribe through our website for regular e-newsletters.

The traditional Half Year and Annual Reports, with numerous pages of financial details, are no longer automatically mailed to shareholders. Half Year and Annual Reports are made available to all shareholders through our website. The 2010 Half Year Report will be available on our website by 30 March 2010.
