GENERAL: ABA: SPECULATION REGARDING NHC GROUP PTY LIMITED

Abano Healthcare Group Limited has become aware of comment in international financial publications, and financial circles in Australia and New Zealand, about a potential sale of NHC Group Pty Limited.

NHC, a company associated with private equity fund Crescent Capital, is an Australasian audiology company which acquired Bay Audiology Limited in November 2009. Abano and interests associated with Peter Hutson hold an aggregate 13 percent stake in NHC, on a 50:50 basis.

As a matter of policy, Abano does not consider it appropriate to comment on or respond to market rumour or speculation and will direct enquiries on this matter to Crescent Capital.
