DIRECTOR RESIGNATION

Abano Healthcare Group has today advised that Mr Philip Newland has resigned as a director of the Company in order to focus on his private business interests, effective from 1 April. Mr Newland has been an Abano board member since October 2001.

Chairman, Mrs Alison Paterson, commented: 'Phil has been a long standing member of the Abano board and his skills have been of immense value at a strategic level. The Board expresses its gratitude for Phil's service to the Company and extends its best wishes to him in his future endeavours'.
